Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is set to acquire the Colorado operations of Eagle Rock Distributing Co. This strategic move aims to expand Southern Glazer's beverage distribution and brand portfolio within the state. However, the acquisition will result in the permanent layoff of 514 employees as Eagle Rock ceases its local facilities this summer.
