Nasdaq Proposes Extension for iShares Crypto ETF Standard Conversion

Nasdaq has submitted a proposal to the SEC requesting an extension for the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF and iShares Ethereum Trust ETF. The proposed change would delay their conversion to Generic Listing Standards until the third quarter of 2026. Nasdaq has also asked for a waiver of the standard 30-day delay, arguing that this action serves the public interest and protects investors.
