Walter E. Smithe Furniture Plans New Showroom in Wilmette

Illinois-based furniture and design company Walter E. Smithe is slated to open a new location in Wilmette's Edens Plaza by 2027. The showroom will take over a large space previously occupied by The Great Escape. Village officials have confirmed the signed lease and the company's intent to make improvements to the property.
