Tesla Recalls Nearly 219,000 Vehicles for Rearview Camera Delay

Tesla has issued a recall for a significant number of its Model 3, Y, S, and X vehicles in the U.S. due to a potential delay in the rearview camera display. This issue could increase the risk of a crash, prompting the company to address it. An over-the-air software update has already been deployed to resolve the problem. The recall was officially filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on May 5, 2026.
