Amazon has entered into a multiyear, multibillion-dollar agreement with Corning Incorporated to produce optical fiber for data centers, aiming to strengthen the U.S. supply chain. This partnership is expected to create 1,000 advanced manufacturing jobs at Corning's North Carolina facilities and support hundreds of construction jobs, along with a new workforce development program.
