Suzano Awards ANDRITZ Contract for Modernization of Aracruz Pulp Mill Electrostatic Precipitators

Suzano, a leading global pulp producer, has selected international technology group ANDRITZ to modernize electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) at its Aracruz plant in Espírito Santo, Brazil. The contract, included in ANDRITZ's Q4 2025 order intake, involves a complete upgrade of five ESPs for recovery boilers, incorporating new Switched Integrated Rectifier (SIR) technology, replacement of internals, and new ash handling systems. This modernization aims to ensure high reliability, improved performance, and reduced emissions, supporting Suzano's sustainability goals.
