HKEX to Launch 18 New Stock Option Classes with Weekly and Monthly Expiries

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced the introduction of 18 new single stock option classes, which will launch in three batches on August 10, August 17, and August 31, 2026. These new contracts will offer both weekly and monthly expiries, aiming to broaden investor choice and enhance risk management capabilities. Single stock options are noted as one of HKEX's fastest-growing derivatives products.
