SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son stated that concerns about an artificial intelligence investment bubble are "foolish" and predicted that approximately $5 trillion in annual global investments would be required to expand data centers, increase chip production, and develop energy systems and infrastructure for AI. He also noted that SoftBank Group Corp. had previously reported a nearly five-fold increase in profits for the fiscal year through March.
