Uber Announces Acquisition of Delivery Hero

Uber has announced its acquisition of Delivery Hero, a move that has received unanimous support from Delivery Hero's management and supervisory boards. Prosus, a significant shareholder with approximately 17% of Delivery Hero's shares, has irrevocably committed to tendering its stake. The transaction is anticipated to be accretive to non-GAAP EPS upon closing and achieve high-single-digit percentage accretion by the third year, pending regulatory approvals and expected to close in the second half of 2027.
