TE Connectivity Forecasts Upbeat Quarterly Results and Acquires Astrodyne TDI for $1.4 Billion

Electronic equipment maker TE Connectivity projected fourth-quarter profit and revenue above Wall Street expectations, driven by demand for its AI-related tools and products. The company also announced it would acquire power management and filtering solutions maker Astrodyne TDI from private equity firm Tinicum LP for $1.4 billion, with the deal expected to close by the end of 2026.
