Shionogi & Co., Ltd. has announced the U.S. availability of XOCOVA® (ensitrelvir), an oral antiviral approved for post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) of COVID-19 in adults and adolescents aged 12 and older. This makes XOCOVA the first and only oral option to help prevent COVID-19 following exposure, and its availability comes ahead of an anticipated summer surge in cases.
