Japanese construction firm Miyagawa Kensetsu Construction Ltd has expressed interest in developing the Bhola-Barishal Bridge and the Shariatpur-Chandpur Bridge in Bangladesh through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The two projects are estimated to cost Tk33,423 crore ($3.44 billion) and are expected to significantly enhance regional connectivity and economic activity.
