Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis Steps Down, Becomes Alphabet Chief Scientist

Sir Demis Hassabis has resigned as CEO of Google DeepMind, the influential AI lab he founded, to become its chair and Alphabet's chief scientist. Koray Kavukcuoglu will take over as senior vice-president of Google DeepMind. Google's stock fell 5% on the announcement.
