U.S. Government Secures Shionogi's Fetroja for National Preparedness

Shionogi announced that the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) exercised a $36.9 million option to procure Fetroja (cefiderocol). This acquisition, part of Project BioShield, aims to enhance national preparedness against severe Gram-negative bacterial infections and potential biothreat pathogens. It strengthens the U.S. defense against critical health risks.
