China's YMTC aims to become the world's largest NAND manufacturer by late 2027, according to a Financial Times report

Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC), China's leading NAND flash maker, reportedly informed investors at an IPO preparatory meeting of its goal to become the world's largest NAND manufacturer by the end of 2027. The company's IPO prospectus, accepted on August 21, disclosed that YMTC ranked third globally in NAND sales value and shipment volume for January–March 2026 and plans to raise 33 billion yuan.
