Fujitsu Develops World's First Diamond-Spin Quantum Computer Prototype
Fujitsu Limited announced the development of the world's first working prototype of a diamond-spin quantum computer, incorporating tin-vacancy (SnV) centers into photonic integrated circuits. This prototype operates at a higher temperature than typical superconducting quantum computers and can be utilized via the Fujitsu Hybrid Quantum Computing Platform. This development is a significant step towards quantum computing scalability and is part of Fujitsu's roadmap to achieve a 250 logical qubit system by fiscal 2030 and a 1,000 logical qubit system by fiscal 2035.
