The Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) has approved seven mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Notable approvals include Indo Suez for General Trading's acquisition of a 51% stake in Fanar Foods, Genel Energy PLC's indirect acquisition of 100% of Capricorn Energy PLC, Bain Capital Investors LLC's indirect acquisition of 51% in Everllence SE, a joint venture between General Warehouses for Storage and ROSHN Group, and the merger of Sun Pharma Inc. into Organon & Co.
