Dario Amodei, CEO of AI company Anthropic, has proposed a three-point plan to slow the growth of AI capabilities, advocating for unilateral access for outside evaluators to verify practices, coordinated shared safety standards among AI companies in democracies, and global coordination including with China. This comes as an Anthropic employee recently accused the company of recklessness. The company is also reportedly targeting a Nasdaq listing as early as mid-October, with a potential valuation of approximately $2 trillion.
