Medtronic Initiates Exchange Offer for MiniMed Group Separation

Medtronic plc has launched an exchange offer to complete the separation of MiniMed Group, Inc., its former Diabetes business, which went public in March 2026. Medtronic shareholders can exchange their ordinary shares for MiniMed shares at a 7% discount. This strategic move aims to spin off at least 80.1% of MiniMed shares, finalizing the divestiture.
