Moderna Appoints Juan Andres as Chief Operating Officer, Announces Retirement of Jerh Collins

Moderna, Inc. announced the appointment of Juan Andres as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective October 5, 2026. In this newly created role, Mr. Andres will report to CEO Stephane Bancel and serve on the Company's Executive Committee. Concurrently, Jerh Collins, Ph.D., Chief Technical Operations and Quality Officer, will retire from the company. Mr. Andres will receive an initial annual base salary of $800,000 and be eligible for an annual cash bonus with a target of 90% of his base salary, along with a new hire equity award equivalent to $5,000,000.
