IP Group plc, an investor in breakthrough science and technology companies, has led an oversubscribed £4 million pre-series A funding round for Matter Machine. Matter Machine is an AI-driven materials discovery company spun out of the University of Liverpool, focused on accelerating the identification and optimization of novel materials. Dr. Gordon Sanghera CBE, co-founder and former CEO of Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc, has joined Matter Machine to lead its commercial strategy.
