China's Major Internet Companies Report 8.9% Revenue Growth and Accelerated Profit Growth in First Eight Months of 2026

Official data from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology indicates that the country's major internet and related service companies achieved an 8.9% year-on-year revenue growth during the January–August period of 2026. Profit growth accelerated by 7.7 percentage points compared to the January–July period, with R&D investments also rising by 15%.
