Tieto to sell its Pulp, Paper and Fibre software business to Valmet.

Tieto has signed an agreement to divest its Pulp, Paper and Fibre software business, known as TIPS (Tieto Indtech's Manufacturing Execution System and Order-to-Cash solution), to Valmet. This strategic acquisition is expected to strengthen Valmet's leadership in automation and expand its capabilities in process industries.
