London Gateway port is expanding and is set to become the UK's largest container port by 2028.

London Gateway, located on the Thames Estuary, is undergoing significant expansion, with a fifth cargo ship berth currently under construction. This development is expected to make it the UK's largest container port by 2028, surpassing Felixstowe. Dubai Ports World has invested £3 billion in the project since inheriting it 20 years ago.
