American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK) filed an 8-K announcing that a Stipulation of Settlement for its proposed merger with Essential Utilities, Inc. was posted to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) website as of November 5, 2026. The settlement, entered into with all parties including NJBPU staff and Rate Counsel, is subject to NJBPU approval.
