Hazmat Team Responds to Mercury Spill at Penang Courier Company, Five Workers Treated

A hazardous materials team was deployed to a courier company in George Town, Penang, after approximately 500ml of mercury spilled from a damaged package. Five workers were treated for exposure at Penang Hospital, though they are reported to be in safe condition. The hazmat operation concluded after two hours, with no further hazardous materials detected.
