Man Charged with Assault on Pregnant Woman in Charlotte, NC

A North Carolina man, Paul Abdul Hicks, has been arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, intent to kill, and assault on a pregnant woman in Charlotte. Police say Hicks attacked a 26-year-old pregnant woman and seriously injured a 34-year-old man. The suspect is currently held without bond.
