Somali National Arrested After Stabbing at Asylum Hotel in Staines, Man Critical

A man in his 30s is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing at the Stanwell Hotel in Staines, which houses asylum seekers. Armed officers from Surrey Police responded to the incident on Saturday evening, arresting a Somalian national in his 20s on suspicion of attempted murder. Police are not seeking further suspects.
