Navi Mumbai Police Officer Dies by Suicide, Allegations Against Personnel Emerge

A 56-year-old assistant police sub-inspector attached to the Special Branch of the Navi Mumbai Police died by suicide at a lodge in Airoli on Friday. Before his death, the officer reportedly recorded a video making allegations against three police personnel, including a DCP, an ACP, and a head clerk, and appealed for justice. The Navi Mumbai police commissioner confirmed the death and stated that efforts are underway to locate a purported eight-page note detailing the allegations.
