U.S. women arrested over smuggling of $1 million worth of cannabis into Japan

Tokyo police have arrested two American women for allegedly smuggling approximately $1 million worth of cannabis into Japan. The 25-year-old suspects arrived at Tokyo's Haneda Airport from New York with suitcases containing about 30 kilograms of dried cannabis. One suspect claimed she was motivated by the offer of a free trip to Japan.
