DeKalb Officer Injured After Suspect Fires at Police During Apartment Standoff

A DeKalb County police officer was injured after a suspect fired at law enforcement during a domestic-related call at the Reserve at Stone Creek apartments in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The suspect, Samuel Norris, barricaded himself for several hours before being taken into custody. A large police presence, including SWAT and a bomb squad, responded to the scene.
