Georgia Public Colleges Set to Increase Tuition

The University System of Georgia's Board of Regents has approved a tuition increase for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. In-state undergraduate students will see a 1% rise, while out-of-state and international students will face a 3% increase across the system's 25 public colleges. This decision, which also includes fee adjustments at some institutions that could reduce overall costs for certain students, marks the fourth tuition increase in the past decade.
