UAE Schools and Universities to Resume In-Person Learning from April 20

The Ministry of Education in the UAE has announced that all nurseries, kindergartens, and public and private schools, as well as higher education institutions, will resume in-person learning starting Monday, April 20, 2026. This decision follows the completion of readiness and preparation plans, including facility preparedness, staff training, and updated safety protocols. Private schools and higher education institutions will have the flexibility to implement hybrid and remote learning models when necessary, under approved regulations.
