Douglas County Teachers' Union Calls for Collective Bargaining Negotiations

The Douglas County Federation of Teachers is pressing the local school district board to recognize the union and initiate negotiations for a collective bargaining agreement for the 2026–2027 school year. This request comes after the district has operated for over 13 years without such an agreement.
