New Global Cybersecurity Standard Introduced for Education Technology

The Access 4 Learning Community and the EDDS Institute have jointly launched a new global standard for education technology cybersecurity. This initiative, called the Global Educational Security Standards (GESS), provides an independent auditing and certification service for EdTech providers. It aims to establish a consistent cybersecurity benchmark tailored for the K-12 sector, moving beyond self-assessment to verified third-party audits.
