Federal Directorate of Education Appoints New Director General in Islamabad

After a three-year vacancy, Javed Iqbal Mirza has been appointed as the regular Director General (BS-21) of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in Islamabad, Pakistan. This appointment, made by the Prime Minister following recommendations from the Federal Public Service Commission, is expected to address several challenges, including securing funds for development projects, completing missing facilities in schools, and filling approximately 1,300 vacant teaching positions across the over 430 schools and colleges overseen by the FDE.
