Penn State Establishes Advanced Semiconductor Research Lab with New System

Penn State University's Materials Research Institute is launching a new facility dedicated to advanced semiconductor research. The laboratory will incorporate an AIXTRON SE Close Coupled Showerhead™ R&D-system, funded by a substantial infrastructure investment. This initiative aims to significantly enhance the university's capabilities in developing next-generation semiconductor thin films and devices, focusing on materials like gallium nitride.
