University of Liverpool Receives Approval for Bengaluru Campus in India

India's University Grants Commission has approved the University of Liverpool's plan to open a branch campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka, starting in August 2026. This initiative marks a significant step in strengthening educational ties between India and the UK, aligning with the India–UK Vision 2035. It also supports India's National Education Policy 2020 goals for internationalizing higher education and expanding access to global learning opportunities.
