Court Invalidates $100,000 Fee for New H-1B Visas

A federal judge has overturned a Trump administration policy imposing a $100,000 fee on new H-1B visas. The ruling sided with 20 states that argued the executive branch exceeded its authority. States had also contended the fee made it difficult to recruit essential professionals, including educators.
