Marshall University Restructures Academic Programs to Address Budget Deficit

Marshall University's board has approved a plan to discontinue seven academic programs while simultaneously expanding five others, including those with high student demand. This strategic restructuring aims to mitigate the public West Virginia institution's $10.2 million fiscal deficit. The university has successfully reduced its deficit from $18.1 million in the previous year.
