Massachusetts Urged to Join Federal K-12 Scholarship Tax Credit Initiative

Advocacy groups are pressing Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey to enroll the state in a new federal tax credit program. This initiative, effective January 2027, offers tax credits for donations to K-12 education scholarship organizations. The IRS reports that 27 other states have already adopted the program.
