Google.org Expands Skilled Trades Training Initiative for US Workers

Google has announced a significant expansion of its skilled trades training program, backed by a $50 million commitment from Google.org. The initiative aims to prepare over 300,000 workers across more than 20 states. It supports training organizations in partnership with labor unions and trade associations, focusing on pre-apprenticeship routes, scaling placements into registered apprenticeships, and integrating AI tools for improved graduate placement.
