Kansas City Teachers and Staff Receive 5% Salary Increase

Educators and support staff within Kansas City Public Schools have achieved a 5% increase in their base salaries. This raise follows the approval of a new collective bargaining agreement with the Kansas City Federation of Teachers. The agreement, sanctioned by the school board, will elevate starting teacher salaries above $50,000 and also benefits various other school personnel.
