University of Michigan Study Highlights Effectiveness of State's Tuition Incentive Program in Expanding College Access

New research from the University of Michigan's Education Policy Initiative (EPI) indicates that Michigan's Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) significantly increases college enrollment for students with financial need and helps reduce disparities in higher education access. The study found TIP-eligible students are 2-3 percentage points more likely to enroll in college.
