NYC Public Schools Mark End of Academic Year, Launch Summer Meal Program

New York City Public Schools have officially concluded the 2025–26 academic year on Friday, June 26, 2026. Chancellor Kamar H. Samuels issued a message to families, and the district also confirmed the availability of free summer meals. These meals will be provided for individuals 18 years old and younger at designated locations from June 29 through September 4.
