Delaware Initiates Program to Develop Local Teachers

Delaware has launched an apprenticeship program designed to cultivate new teachers from within its existing school communities. The initiative supports 67 school-based professionals, including high school graduates and paraprofessionals, in becoming certified educators. This effort aims to strengthen the state's teaching workforce and retain talent locally.
