Virginia and Ohio Explore Three-Year Bachelor's Degree Models

Higher education leaders in Virginia and Ohio are collaborating on an initiative to develop three-year bachelor's degree programs. This effort aims to reduce the time and cost of obtaining a degree, aligning with goals to better meet student and employer needs and improve affordability. Participating institutions are expected to propose specific 90-credit programs by spring 2028.
