Federal Graduate Loan Caps Could Disproportionately Impact Latino Medical Students

Research from the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute indicates that new federal borrowing limits, effective July 1, may hinder Latino students' access to medical school. The analysis reveals that over a third of Latino medical students previously borrowed more than the new annual federal cap.
