University of Kentucky to lead statewide pilot program evaluating performance-based incentives for kindergarten readiness.

Under House Bill 6, passed by the Kentucky General Assembly, the University of Kentucky is establishing the Kentucky Kindergarten Readiness Performance-Based Child Care Incentive Pilot Program. This initiative will study whether financial incentives for parents and childcare providers can improve kindergarten readiness outcomes across the state.
