Butler County schools are set to receive a slight increase in funding from Pennsylvania's recently signed $50.85 billion state budget for 2026-27. The budget, finalized after a 12-day delay, includes billions in education funding, with a 0.7% increase in basic education funding and a $565 million increase in adequacy and equity funding aimed at addressing disparities and supporting students and student teachers.
